This emergency stop button worked well for my project and was easy to install into my control setup. I used it as part of a wiring system, and it functioned the way I needed it to. The button feels sturdy, the red mushroom head is easy to press, and the twist-release feature worked smoothly. It was also helpful that the contact block was simple to wire and mount. Overall, it was a good, affordable emergency stop option for my DIY electronics project.
What a life saver ... I searched the internet for a replacement part and unfortunately the manufactures' supply was on backorder. Amazon had the right part. appearance is the same as the original part. Functionality is perfect, and the installation was easy as unplugging the old and plugging in the new. I would high recommend this part. I used it for a 3" Pro-King chipper/shredder.
This works just like an emergency stop should work: it quickly switches when you smash the button and resets when you twist the button top. The switch body and the big button are 2 pieces, so you’ll need to make sure you have the clearance in your mounting location to allow the twisting motion required to mate the switch body to the button.
Used this to replace the "Big Red Button" on a MEP-802A generator (the original buttons that came with the units are problematic at best in really cold weather), this is a perfect replacement that fits the use case.
With so many flimsy plastic junk electronic stops on the market, it was refreshing to find one worth putting on the machine without worrying about falling apart the first time it was hit. The installation method is also clever - the mushroom is detached from the switch body via an easy-to-install lever. High quality and rare to see.

I bought a machine and the plastic thruster fell apart after a few starts. I can use the top half of this machine (much better), just mount it on the wire connections of the old machine. I don't need to re-parse or guess my wiring. It just gets stuck on top of the old base. Nice aluminum makes the machine look better.
